Partial renovation of a detached house built in 1981 (Gran Año), where the ground floor was redistributed with the aim of expanding the visual space and creating a single Kitchen-Dining-Living area, making the most of the southern light and the northern views at all times.
The hall disappears and the bathroom, small but perfectly functional, is relocated to the former dressing room of the “aMaMa”.
The entire ground floor slab is clad in 10×10 Travertine tiles. A BioCal microcement has been applied to the walls and ceilings, including the bathroom surfaces.
A large arch introduces the Logos Kitchen, which features a peninsula designed for cooking in company.
The only wood present in this project is olive wood.
The only column in the open-plan space has been lined to create more organic circulation routes, since removing it was not an option.
A partial renovation in Urdaibai designed for enjoying summer days and family life.
